The Paso Robles city council will be conducting a public hearing to consider implementing changes to its municipal code regarding cannabis.
The new framework would allow the establishment of adult-use cannabis, non-storefront retail businesses within certain zones in the city. Currently, only non-storefront medicinal cannabis delivery is allowed in the city. Amendments would also establish a cannabis regulatory permit, in place of the previously used conditional use permit. The new language for the municipal code would also eliminate the previously proposed cap of three cannabis businesses in the city.
The hearing will be held in the next regular meeting for the Paso Robles city council, Tuesday, August 18th at 6 pm in the Norris room at Centennial park.
