Yesterday, Atascadero police department detectives traveled to Los Angeles to arrest 36-year-old Michael Donovan Cobb Jr.
For sex crimes against a minor. Detectives became aware of his alleged crimes in August 2026, and he was identified as a suspect through an investigation. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo county jail for lewd acts with a child, sending harmful material to a minor, contacting a minor with the intent to meet for sex, sexual penetration of a minor, and arranging to meet with a minor for sex.
His bail was set to $1 million.
