On Friday, a 24-year-old Paso Robles man pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in federal court in Los Angeles.
Timothy Clark Wolfe is facing two charges of distributing fentanyl causing death and possession of the anti-anxiety drug, Xanax with intent to sell.
He was charged by a federal grand jury on July 19th.
Back in 2020, he sold a counterfeit Percocet to 19-year-old Emilio Velci of Atascadero. The two worked together at a Paso Robles restaurant. Velci suffered from a tooth ache. Wolfe sold him the counterfeit Percocet.
Velci died from ingesting the fentanyl.
