Groundbreaking late last week for a 200-unit apartment complex on Creston road.
The vacant lot is just north of Food For Less. The apartment units in the complex will range from one to three bedrooms. Their size will vary between 730 square feet and 1300 square feet.
There will be a fitness center, swimming pool and playgrounds for toddlers. There will also be bicycle racks and pedestrian walkways.
Mayor Steve Martin says, “This and similar developments will broaden our housing inventory which will improve the quality and affordability of life in our city.”
The project is called “Arrive Paso Robles.”
It is scheduled to be completed in 2023.
