A San Luis Obispo county man has been sentenced to serve 283 years to life in state prison for repeatedly sexually abusing two children.
41-year-old Teodulo Vasquez-Jimenez was sentenced by judge Rida Federmen under the maximum term authorized by law, and is ordered to register as a sex offender, and pay $1 million in restitution for each survivor.
The two victims were between the ages of 6 and 14 at the time of their abuse, from 2009 to 2023, in Paso Robles. District attorney Dan Dow commended the two victims for their “extraordinary courage, who came forward and endured the difficult process of seeking justice.”
The DA’s office also wants every survivor of sexual abuse to know they are not alone, and help is available.
