But the National Weather Service says we’ll see “dangerously hot conditions” this weekend. They’re now predicting temperatures will surpass 110 degrees Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This week, we’ll see high temperatures ramp up to that “dangerously hot condition.”
More on the weather forecast coming below.
Already, some changes made by public schools in light of the hot weather. Thursday’s Paso Robles high school freshman football game against Arroyo Grande has been pushed back by two hours and will start at 7 Thursday night.
The heat may also have an impact on practice schedules. Practice could be delayed, moved indoors or canceled altogether, although full cancellations are rare.
At Virginia Peterson elementary, recess will be moved indoors later this week.
