Paso Robles city council meets tomorrow night. One issue which is being carried over from last week’s emergency meeting; What to do about all the fires in the riverbed. Most people agree that if they don’t do something soon, there’s going to be a disastrous fire. City councilman John Hamon has been the most vocal critic of the city’s lack of action.
The big question is clear. Will the slow moving bureaucracy prevent a response before there’s a serious fire? One that destroys homes and possibly causes loss of life.
The council will also look tomorrow night at putting a one percent sales tax on the ballot in November to increase revenues for the city.
