The Paso Robles city council approved a professional services agreement with RS&H incorporated to complete the requirements for a spaceport launch site operator license.
The agreement will not exceed $786,455. $450 thousand of his will come from senate bill 1090 from the state level, and the rest from the city’s general fund. Staff estimates the application will take about 18 months to complete, with about another six months added to the timeline for approval.
The council voted 4 – 1 to approve the contract. Bausch dissented after an amendment he proposed, for staff to explore methods to recapture funds spent on the contract, was rejected.
