The Paso Robles planning commission will be holding a public hearing this Tuesday, October 27th for the landing project.
The project plans to redevelop the former Estrella Youth Correctional Facility, known as the Paso Robles Boys school. It has been vacant since 2008. The landing calls for the re-development into a phased commercial and industrial project. This includes a cold-storage warehouse, a hotel and conference center, retail spaces, offices, and an industrial park.
The hearing on Tuesday will discuss details of the proposed development agreement between the city and the developer. The agreement establishes a 20-year term as development occurs in phases.
The hearing will begin at 6:30 pm in the Norris room at Centennial park, and will also be live-streamed on YouTube.
