09.11.26 Paso Robles High School Celebrates Completion of Bearcat Institute of Cosmetology
The Paso Robles joint unified school district will celebrate the completion of the new Bearcat institute of cosmetology at the high school with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The ceremony will start Friday, September 18th at 1:30 pm. The salon is built to serve as the high school’s newest career technical education pathway, and expands on an “already thriving CTE program” at the high school, where students have access to 18 career pathways spanning agriculture, business, construction, engineering, health care, digital media, and more. More than half of the students at the high school participate in CTE.
Students who partake in the cosmetology pathway are expected to complete the 1,000 training hours required to qualify for the California board of barbering and cosmetology licensing exam. Community members are invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at the high school, which will offer tours of the new institute.
