9.25.26 UPDATE Hwy 41 Shoulder Backing
Caltrans announced one-way reversing traffic control will be in effect on highway 41 for two more weeks.
Work is being done between Atascadero and Morro Bay, from Los Altos road to Bear Ridge road. Crews are performing shoulder backing work to create a smooth, level surface along the shoulder that allows drivers to safely steer back onto the highway. Work is being extended through Friday, October 9th. Flaggers will be in place from 9 am to 3 pm on the 41 through this date.
Messages and directional signs will alert travelers in advance, and delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected.
