The county board of supervisors may formally unrecognize the Templeton area advisory group in its next meeting on Tuesday.
TAAG is an independent body, authorized to represent the community of Templeton to review and make non-binding recommendations to the county board of supervisors on planning matters.
TAAG has suffered from setbacks and challenges over the past year, including an inability to recruit new members, reach a quorum, and meet on a regular basis. Last month, the chair of the Templeton area advisory group, David Leader, resigned after being convicted of harassment, trespassing, vandalism, and violation of restrainng orders. Other members resigned shortly after, and the remaining members formally requested the board of supervisors unrecognize TAAG as an advisory council.
You can attend Tuesday’s meeting in person, or watch online.
