Turning Point’s USA “America: Love It or Leave It” tour stopped at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Wednesday, with a packed house inside and protesters outside.
This was the second-to-last stop on the tour. The panel consisted of political activist Riley Gaines, author Will Witt, former U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and YouTuber Nick Shirley. During the event, they spoke on immigration, the state of California, and encouraging young conservative voters.
While no attending members of the press were allowed to record the event, Turning Point USA did say they were recording the program themselves, and would upload clips. Outside of the Performing Arts Center, protesters gathered in the rain, opposing the organization’s presence on campus.
