One sad note this morning, Former north county resident Alex Trebek died yesterday from pancreatic cancer.
Trebek once owned a ranch east of Paso Robles, he spent a lot of time in the north county. He sold the ranch years ago.
Last year, he announced that he had stage four pancreatic cancer. He said he would beat it. He died at his home yesterday. Surrounded by family and friends.
Alex Trebeck dead at the age of 80, although he already recorded Jeopardy shows through Christmas, so you’ll see him on TV for a few more weeks.
