In the south county, many are calling for the recall of three school board trustees in the Lucia Mar school district. That’s after mask mandates are imposed in the district Tuesday evening.
During the meeting, people in the audience shouted “Tyrant” and “Coward.”
Superintendent Paul Fawcett says the district is following indoor face mask guidelines outlined by federal and state officials.
The state has issued guidelines mandating schools in California require students wear face covering indoors.
