The council meeting lasted only about an hour last night, that’s after a marathon meeting on July 19th which addressed the city’s plans to rescind a buy-sell agreement with the mid state fair operators. City manager Ty Lewis explained that item on July 19th. That discussion lasted two hours on the night of July 19th, and at times it became quite heated.
More meetings are planned to continue that debate on the city’s plans to rescind the buy sell agreement. We’ll have more on the issue tomorrow.
