Several thousand people turned out for the Annual Polar Bear Dip at the Cayucos pier on New Year’s Day.
More than one thousand people took a dip in the ocean.
There was also an Avila Beach Polar Bear Plunge. That Avila Beach event is now in it’s 11th year.
