A small vegetation fire threatened three structures on Friday afternoon in Atascadero.
The fire broke out at around 2:21 pm on Friday on San Marcos road. The fire quickly grew to about one acre, burning on both sides of the road, but forward progress was stopped as of 2:40 pm on Friday.
No structures were damaged or destroyed from the fire.
