
On Tuesday, the county board of supervisors approved a lease agreement with the Cayucos historical society for the purpose of operating a historical museum.
The space will be approximately 425 square feet at Cayucos Landing for five years. This historical facility has long served as a gathering space in the region, with major renovations recently completed.
County parks seeks to reestablish the museum space for the Cayucos historical society, aligning with county and state parks’ mission to enrich the community and preserve historical resources.
The space allocated to the historical society will be provided rent-free, recognizing the role as a public benefit.
