A closure on South River road was initially scheduled in December, but had to be cancelled due to weather.
The city of Paso Robles announced this closure will now be occurring on Thursday, January 15th from 8 am to 7 pm. The closure affects South River road from Navajo to Creston.
Work will consist of power pole upgrades along the bluff with crane operations. PG&E is in the process of upgrading the power poles as part of their Estrella Highline Project to reinforce power to the city.
Drivers can use Creston, Nickerson and Niblick for detours.
