A San Miguel Community Services District board member, vice president John Green, passed away in late November.
To fill the late Green’s open seat, current San Miguel CSD board members will be holding interviews in its January 22nd meeting. The appointee will only serve in the seat through the end of 2026, with the seat to be filled for the remainder of its term through 2028 by a vote in the general election.
The deadline to file a letter of interest to fill the vacant position was January 12th, and four candidates have submitted their letters to the board for consideration.
