Atascadero Fire and Emergency Services announced earlier this week that the 2026 burn season is now closed.
Atascadero Fire “strongly encourages residents to utilize alternative forms of disposal, such as the waste alternatives’ green waste recycling center or the Chicago Grade landfill.”
Property owners found to be in violation will be cited.
