Cal Fire San Luis Obispo responded to a vehicle fire with extension to vegetation near the 8000 block of Chimney Rock road, west of Nacimiento lake drive yesterday afternoon.
The “Rock Fire” initially spread to about half an acre as emergency crews arrived at the scene, and Chimney Rock road between Adelaide and Nacimiento Lake drive was closed.
The fire grew to about 5 acres before forward progress was stopped. No further information is available at this time.
