
A driver was killed on highway 41 yesterday morning after crashing into a tree.
CHP received a report of the incident at about 7:01 am, on highway 41 near the intersection of Toro Creek road. A truck was found 30 feet off the road down an embankment, and the patient was confirmed dead about half an hour after the incident was first reported. Traffic was significantly impacted in the area, as crews worked to clear debris from the crash. The roadway was under a full closure by 9 am, with “major delays” expected on highway 41. The highway reopened later that day.
