Press Release Structure fire – August 12th, 2026
Paso Fire & Emergency Services responded to a report of a residential structure fire on the 1200 block of Dorothy street yesterday at about 4:55 pm.
Firefighters found smoke and fire inside of the bathroom of a single story, single family residential structure. Firefighters managed to stop the fire to the room of origin, limiting its extension into the attic and living space.
The residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The fire was caused by an electric exhaust fan.
