Upon completion of the nomination process for eligible candidates to some San Luis Obispo county CSD and special district offices, it was determined the number of candidates did not exceed the number of available positions.
As such, an election is not required for these jurisdictions. An item on Tuesday’s county board of supervisors recommends approving the applied candidates in-lieu of an election to these various offices. This includes the Heritage Ranch Community Services District, San Simeon CSD, San Miguel school board areas 1 and 2, Shandon school board, Cayucos sanitary district, and more.
You can attend Tuesday’s board of supervisors meeting in person, or watch online.
