The city of Paso Robles will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 15th to consider the adoption of a resolution establishing user fees for cannabis regulatory activities and services.
The city announced this public hearing yesterday, and the current proposed fee schedule and calculations are currently available online. Members of the public will be afforded an opportunity to discuss the fees, and copies of the staff report and resolution describing the proposed fees will be available prior to the city’s meeting.
The city says these fees will be charged to offset the cost of providing the services for cannabis regulatory activities, so that the cost is paid for by the organization receiving the benefit, and not the community as a whole.
