2026 FSA Receives AAA designation
The California Department of Aging has designated Family Service Agency as the regional area agency on aging for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
FSA will assume full fiscal, administrative, and programmatic coordination for critical adult and caregiver services, working closely with state officials, local community partners, and existing service providers. ASA program manager, Megan Young said “the area agency on aging serves as a starting point for finding the right support for an older adult.” They coordinate a wide range of services that support aging and help family caregivers manage the challenges of care-giving.
