The Paso Robles city council will take the next step in applying for its horizontal spaceport launch site operator license at the Paso Robles municipal airport.
The city council has been working towards obtaining an FAA spaceport license for several years, and in June of this year, the city council issued a request for proposals for spaceport consultant services. The services would assess the status of the city’s completed application materials, and identify the remaining documentation necessary to complete and submit an application.
The city received three proposals from qualified firms, and the selection committee that evaluated the proposals has recommended approving RS&H, Inc. As the firm to complete the remaining spaceport license application requirements.
You can attend tomorrow’s meeting at 6 in person, or listen right here on KPRL.
