Paso Robles high school announced that its students have taken home 11 medals from the statewide California SkillsUSA conference. The conference sees thousands of middle and high school students from across the state competing in a variety of skilled service occupations. Gold medalists are:
Frida Rico for job interview, Kyle Dart for aviation maintenance technology, Patrick Malufau for computer programming, Asyel Mendoza for telecommunications cabling, and Adelaida Mora for 20 second elevator story.
Silver medalists are: Ty Brown for telecommunications cabling, logan parent for internetworking, Kingston Anguiano for early childhood education, Paityn Swanson for job skill Demo A, and Rowan Yakush for prepared speech.
Bronze medalists are Natalia Aguiano for telecommunications cabling, and Raffy Fuentes for early childhood education.
Four of the five gold medal winners (Dart, Malufau, and Mendoza) will represent Paso Robles high school for the national competition, held in June in Atlanta.
