On March 5th just before 10 pm, Paso Robles police officers responded to an incident on the 3300 block of Spring street regarding a report of a male suspect pointing a handgun at another male’s head, and telling the victim he “was going to die.”
The police department says the victim managed to escape from the suspect and was not injured. The suspect fled north, and was not located at the time of the initial response.
Following an investigation, police identified the suspect as 31-year-old Irvin Hernandez, and served an arrest and search warrant at his residence on the 3400 block of Spring street. Members of the county regional swat team assisted with his arrest at about 3 pm on March 8th.
Hernandez was taken into custody without incident, and no injuries were reported.
