The county board of supervisors voted to adopt an ordinance, reducing the cannabis business tax rate.
The rate automatically increased to 8% on July 1st, and this will continue to remain in effect until October 1st. Starting October 1st, the reduced rate of 6% will take place.
Because of this timing, all cannabis transactions occurring in July, August, and September will remain subject to the 8% rate, and remitted accordingly.
