Paso Robles public works has released a traffic advisory for construction at three locations throughout the month of September. Upcoming construction will affect traffic on Creston road, south Vine street, and streets in the Sierra Bonita neighborhood during working hours: Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. For Creston road, phase 2 of the project continues with trench excavation from just east of Orchard drive to Laura way for the installation of new water lines. Bike lanes and street parking will be closed to accommodate work while maintaining two-way traffic. Work is expected to continue through September 18th. At Niblick road, developer-funded improvements will begin September 14th, and will start with lane and sidewalk closures in preparation for a new right-turn pocket upgrade.
At south Vine street, sewer construction will begin between Cuerno Largo and Wilmar place starting September 14th. Drivers should expect single-lane traffic control for three to five weeks.
The final phase for the Sierra Bonita neighborhood road repair project will begin. The city will begin slurry seals on multiple streets now that the underground work has finished, with the final phase starting September 30th, and striping expected at the end of October.
