About 200 households in one San Luis neighborhood were advised they no longer have to boil their drinking water.
The city’s utility department issued a boil notice on Sunday for the neighborhood around Johnson avenue and Bishop street.
That’s after a water main broke in the early hours Sunday. According to a news release, the boil notice was issued out of an abundance of safety and precaution.
Water samples tested Tuesday indicate no contamination occurred.
