Cal Fire San Luis Obispo announced there will be a prescribed burn at the Huasna Ranch property this weekend.
Beginning Sunday, March 29th, Cal Fire, in coordination with other agencies, will be burning 1,900 acres adjacent to the Gifford burn scar.
The impact to populated communities is expected to be minimal, according to Cal Fire. Smoke may be visible in nearby communities, and favorable weather conditions are anticipated.
If burn conditions are not suitable, the operation may be postponed.
