04.15.26 Wellsona Rd. Safety Project Complete
Caltrans district 5 announced that construction on the Wellsona road safety improvement project is now complete.
The project constructed an under-crossing and frontage road near the intersection of the US 101 and Wellsona road. A 112-foot long bridge and under-crossing eliminates the need for motorists to make left turns across traffic on the US 101.
The contractor for this $12.2 million project was CalPortland construction of Santa Maria.
