About 1,600 customers were without power in Paso Robles yesterday near highway 46 east, the Airport, and Golden Hill road.
The outage was reported at around 7:30 pm, and was likely caused by a downed power pole from a DUI crash on Union road.
CHP responded to the incident, saying that it also sparked a small tree fire. Power was eventually restored after 9 pm.
No further information from CHP or PG&E is available at this time.
