The first Paso Robles school board meeting of the new school year will be held tonight at 6.
On tonight’s agenda is a salary schedule recommendation, following discussions during the June 23rd meeting. In the February 2, 2026 meeting, staff presented the board with an item that recommended addressing wage and salary assessments, and salary compensations. Data showed that about 54% of benchmark positions fall behind market median incomes.
Staff is recommending the board increase salary ranges for certified, classified, management, and confidential positions, and ensure all salary ranges fall within 5% of the market median. The total cost of this adjustment will be about $247 thousand from the general fund.
You can attend tonight’s meeting in person, or watch online.
