A Bakersfield man was arrested in Paso Robles yesterday for robbing a bank in Grover Beach.
At about 12:01 pm yesterday, the Grover Beach police department responded to a bank robbery at the Wells Fargo bank on W. Grand avenue. Officers arrived within minutes of being dispatched, but the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect allegedly passed a note declaring he was robbing the bank, but no weapons were seen. The teller provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect’s vehicle was identified within minutes, and the information was relayed to other law enforcement agencies.
At about 12:51 pm, the sheriff’s office located the suspect vehicle near highway 101 and the 46 in Paso Robles. The suspect, 67-year-old Brent David Miur of Bakersfield, was arrested without incident, booked into the San Luis Obispo county jail for robbery and burglary charges.
