The county board of supervisors’ next regular meeting will be on October 31st.
A part of its agenda is a request to approve and sign a professional study contract on the Paso Robles groundwater basin. The contract with Water Systems Consulting Inc. says it should not exceed 296 thousand dollars.
The scope of the work as identified in the contract is to assess the feasibility of delivering blended water supplies from the lake Nacimiento pipeline and the city of Paso Robles recycled water system for agricultural use, in lieu of pumping from the groundwater basin. The contract currently says that the work should be completed no later than May 31, 2024.
You can attend next week’s meeting in person, or watch online.
