Free Chipping Days Reminder 2026 Press Release
Paso Fire & Emergency Services is reminding residents about upcoming free chipping days, scheduled for September 8th through the 10th.
The county fire safe council will provide free pickup of tree and brush trimmings at no cost to participating residents in qualifying areas. Residents must be located within a fire hazard severity zone in Paso Robles, and complete a registration online no later than September 7th. Registration can be done at chipperday.com/slofsc.
Removing overgrown trees, brush, and other combustible vegetation can help reduce wildfire fuels and make homes and properties more resilient to wildfire.
