Updates to the citizens’ oversight committee are on the next Paso Robles school board’s agenda.
Bonds passed by the district must include an independent citizen’s oversight committee, with at least seven members and representing specific segments of the community. There are two vacant seats for members at large currently, and the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting proposes approving a new applicant: Darcia Stebbens. If approved, her term will be for March 2026 through March 2028. The agenda item also contains an update on the citizen’s oversight committee.
Its last meeting was held on September 30, 2026, and its next meeting is scheduled for January 27, 2027 at Georgia Brown. The committee will discuss adjusting meeting months, changing a November meeting time to January. The committee will also review the annual audits for 2025 – 26 for measure M. This is a consent item on the school board’s agenda.
You can attend in person, or watch online on Tuesday, October 27th.
