On Tuesday’s board of supervisors meeting, the board voted to deny an appeal against the proposed 24-hour gas station in Templeton west of highway 101.
The project has been approved by the planning commission with several changes to its initial design, such as removing a car wash and quick service restaurant, increasing the amount of signage, and keeping the convenience store open for 24 hours a day.
Many Templeton residents have protested against the station’s development.
The board of supervisors voted 3 – 2 to deny an appeal that would block the development. Supervisors Bruce Gibson and Jimmy Paulding dissented in the vote.
