A former teacher at Morro Bay high school is charged with two felony counts of unlawful sex with a minor and a misdemeanor charge of molesting or annoying a minor.
The DA’s office says the conduct began on December 21st, 2018 and continued until October 15th of last year. It started before he became a teacher.
Tyler Dale Andree was also a swim coach at the high school. Andree was released from jail on 30,000 bail. He will remain out of custody until his preliminary hearing March 24th.
He resigned as a teacher on January 18th.
