The San Luis Obispo county clerk recorder’s office posted over the weekend an unofficial list of candidates as of August 12th. It includes those running for school boards in the county, but not those running city council seats.
It shows nine candidates running at large for the school board in Atascadero.
In Paso Robles, there are three candidates for school board in trustee area number one. Incumbent president Chris Arend is being challenged by Jim Cogan and Peter Byrne.
Joel Peterson is running in trustee area number 2, unopposed. Although, the clerk states he has paper issues with his candidacy.
In area four, Frank Triggs, Catherine Reimer and Sondra Williams are running for that seat.
And three people are running at large; Adelita Hiteshew, Laurene McCoy, and Kelly Cooper.
When the county clerk lists the candidates for mayor and city council member in the Paso Robles city election, we’ll pass that information on to you. I expect we’ll have that information tomorrow.
