A reminder that the information session for the proposed Morro Bay wind energy area will be next week on November 1st.
The session will take place from 4 to 8 pm at the newly renamed Katcho Achadjian government center at 1055 Monterey street in San Luis Obispo. The event is aimed to provide information about the proposed 376 square mile wind energy area.
Officials and politicians scheduled to attend the event are: US Representative Salud Carbajal, senator John Laird, supervisors Dawn Ortiz-Legg and Bruce Gibson, California coastal commission executive director Kate Huckelbridge, and more. 60 minutes of public comment will be allowed in the meeting following three 45-minute information panels.
Registration for the event is not required if you plan to attend in person. The meeting also features a Zoom webinar for anyone unable to make it to the in-person event.
