The Cal Poly football team gets a former 5-star quarterback. He’s Sam Huard, who is transferring from University of Washington with three years of eligibility.
Huard played high school ball in Washington State for Sheldon Cross, who is the new offensive coordinator for the Mustangs. He played for Kennedy Catholic which is near Seattle.
Sam was the #1 pro-style quarterback in his class. The #23 prospect overall.
He is the son of Damon Huard who played for University of Washington, and later played 12 years in the NFL. Damon on two super bowl rings with the England Patriots.
