Even with rain on the forecast, Cayucos beach will ring in the New Year with its annual Polar Bear Dip.
This annual tradition will start at noon on January 1st, with a king tide also predicted. A king tide is when the earth, sun, and moon are all in alignment, causing an exceptionally high tide for the area.
The event includes costume contests & prizes, a live DJ, and don’t forget to buy a t-shirt to support the chamber of commerce. Cal Fire and numerous life guards will be on site to ensure everyone is remaining safe.
Come celebrate the New Year at the Cayucos pier January 1st at noon.
