The county health department is administering vaccinations as quickly as possible. Given the supply and staffing available.
Dr. Penny Borenstein says that a community task force of more than 30 people has been meeting to help urge community members to get shots.
So far, some 8,000 doses of the vaccine have been administered. That’s between 400 to 600 each weekday.
The county has already used two-thirds of the doses it received.
They received 12,225 doses, and will receive another 2,000 tomorrow.
For more information about the vaccines and how to get one, you’re encouraged to contact the county health department.
