The Paso Robles school board meets tomorrow evening at the district office. It will be another virtual meeting, you can watch it on YouTube.
The board still divided over the school board president Chris Arend’s handling of the grand jury report entitled, Paso Robles School District, A Cautionary Tale. Chris Arend hand carried a 14-page response to the grand jury report to judge Duffy, who is overseeing the grand jury.
You may remember superintendent Curt Dubost saying at a school board meeting that there was no malfeasance during the Chris Williams administration. He kept on staff several administrators hired and promoted by Williams. Then the grand jury report came out citing numerous offenses, including cronyism, favoritism, and president Arend says it included extortion. Those allegations contradicted the superintendent’s claim of no malfeasance.
Paso Robles school board clerk Chris Bausch disagreed with Arend’s response to the grand jury report.
He’ll be our guest this afternoon on Sound Off to talk about the grand jury report and what comes next for the Paso Robles school district.
